VerseWellPsalm of the Day
Today's Psalm — a passage from the Book of Psalms, chosen daily from a curated library of well-known Psalms in the World English Bible (Protestant Edition).
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper. Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces. For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”
What is the Psalm of the day?
Each day this page shows a single passage from the Book of Psalms. The selection is chosen deterministically from the date, so every visitor sees the same Psalm on a given day, and it changes on its own the following day.
The text is drawn from the World English Bible (Protestant Edition), a public-domain modern English translation, so you are free to quote and share it. Browse the full book of Psalms, or read a verse of the day from any book.
